In partnership with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), our CHANGE Food Program intends to offer consistent Summer and After School Food Services for our low and extremely low-income households and their school-age children living in Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire. Further, our CHANGE Food Program intends to expand and target our homeless population through various partnerships with our local grocers and restaurateurs who will donate surplus food inventory, which we will redistribute through weekly food bag deliveries.

CHANGE works to fill the gaps in education tools not already provided by our local school districts by providing a variety of school supplies, backpacks, books, study aids, and evens some digital electronics now needed for the long-term academic success of our youth. Additionally, for those students who lack a basic wardrobe or uniform requirements to confidently attend school, we do our best to encourage or reliable donors to provide the clothing needed by these students.
Studies show that children with school supplies of their own can improve grades, creativity, attitudes towards learning, confidence, peer relationships, and self-image. Further, the lack of adequate school clothing and basic supplies is among the top challenges homeless students face in attending school.

Through community engagement and communication, our community outreach workers work to assist with a variety of services including; Food and clothing referrals, transportation assistance, family reunification and relocation to support systems in other areas, emergency shelter placements, medical and mental health care referrals, financial literacy information, social services assistance, substance abuse treatment referrals, and homeless prevention.
